Moving & Shooting:
This course is an in-depth examination of the use of movement in a defensive shooting context. Like all of our 1/2 day skill courses Moving & Shooting starts with breaking down the reason for & application of the techniques. The range time is spent familiarizing & ingraining the proper procedures so you can practice the techniques on your own & not only perform the skill correctly, but also recognize & correct any deficiencies that may develop. We will cover the reasons behind movement, benefits & drawbacks of movement & the decision making process behind shooting, moving or shooting while moving. While the emphasis of the course is on movement we also touch on reloading, the 4-Count Drawstroke & some of the various methods for accessing the weapon from concealment. This is a somewhat physical class & most of our time will be spent on the range.
